Bible Chess Puzzles
Chess puzzles told through the stories of the Bible. Each world is a story, from Creation and Noah’s Ark to Daniel and the Prophets, and each one teaches a chess idea: mate in 1, mate in 2, back-rank mates, sacrifices, promotion, quiet moves and smothered mates. The boards are small and hand-shaped, so every puzzle is quick to read. Every puzzle has a forced checkmate, and every win comes with a verse from the World English Bible.

Judge (queen)Moves any distance in a straight line or along a diagonal.
Tower (rook)Moves any distance along a rank or a file.
Prophet (bishop)Moves any distance along a diagonal.
Scout (knight)Leaps in an L shape, even over other pieces and over the water.
Shepherd (pawn)Steps forward and takes on the diagonal. On the far rank he is anointed.
